LEXINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — A 19-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Lexington, according to police.
At approximately 1:42 a.m., Lexington Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of Jessup Street. Upon arrival, they found Xzavion Tyleal Booker, 19, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have confirmed the incident was isolated and say there is no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation remains active.
